Koins is a NFT powered PVP racing game, featuring the titular Koins: a race of space fish with unique characteristics and traits. Players can buy and race their Koins on different ‘Trackquariums’ and earn cryptocurrency with each victory.

We built a lightweight, highly performant WebGL race visualizer for the game in Unity from scratch, and worked closely with the Koins team to design and balance the race algorithms. We assisted in designing data sharing protocols between the web app and the race visualizer, and integrated features such as race replaying, validation and anti-tampering.
